Namaste I Did It!

Yoooo!

When I was back in my home land of Japan 7 years ago, i took my first yoga class!

It was an Ashtanga Yoga class. It helped me open and release stress from my heart. I couldn't stop crying at the end of class when we where in Savasana (relaxation pose).

From this experience I recognized what I was feel during the day, and how it affected me. Because of this, I decided to take a yoga class once a week at least...

...so I research what Tokyo, Japan had to offer; what kind of yoga classes were available, what was the cost, schedu1ling, and so fourth.

I found an Ashtanga Yoga class in Ogikubo, Japan. Class fees were reasonable and there were many students, it was packed! The instruction was bilingual - both in English and Japanese.

I think, all students felt, "We are one, we are here, we are getting along together, all at same time." It was awesome, two thumbs up!

I sometimes forget to "Breath" naturally but yoga reminds me that breathing is basic, and can help us see, ask and explore ourselves.

Yes, it is a simple thought, "Just Breath." It is also very important. Yoga like scuba diving (also one of my favorite thing) teaches one how important the breath is.

Lots of yoga love to you,

Yuki Nakamura

Much Love!

First of all, I would like to thank Yuki for sharing with us! It's always beautiful hearing how others discovered yoga.

I've known Yuki for over three years now, she is one of the kindest, sweetest and happiest people I know. I'm sure finding Ashtanga Yoga help nurture these qualities, which without a doubt shined through from her birth.

Yuki is always exploring and learning about yoga and life. I'm blessed to have her as one of my yogini friends.

If you're new to yoga, I hope you find others to practice with. You'll find that your fellow yogis and/or yoginis will become some of your dearest friends.

Why? There's just something amazing about discovering yourself along side others discovering themselves. It may be cheesy to say but, "It's the stuff dreams are made of."

Thanks again Yuki for sharing with us!

about Yuki's comment

I know what Yuki is talking about! It's amazing to feel such a powerful release. You're whole being feels lighter and freer, and all you want to do is repeat that feeling over and over. So that's why it's easy to get into a yoga routine once you experience how the breath and the poses empower you.
