Meditation Techniques

Learn, Cultivate and Experience the
Priceless Benefits of Meditation.

We here at YP-OYS.com have quite a fondness for meditation! We practice the meditation techniques taught by Paramhansa Yogananda, the first Indian Yogi to make his home here in the West.

With discipline, dedication and a steadfast determination we strive to cultivate a fruitful meditation practice. Already the fruits of said practice have manifested in marvelous ways.

With our How to Meditate page, we aim to teach you some basic meditation techniques that you can start practicing as soon as you're ready to make the time in your life to begin trying them out.

With that said, this should also be noted - Everyone can benefit from learning some meditation techniques, but not everyone will be able to meditate.

We all know, have learned, about the remarkable discoveries of Albert Einstein. Has this knowledge transformed us into world renown scientists? Now for some of you it may have, but for this author it has yet to happen...

We should take a moment to clarify; the reason we say not everyone will be able to meditate is because, meditation is a skill; a talent or ability that must be cultivated in order to see lasting results.

We hope this doesn't discourage you from TRYING to learn, cultivate and develop the meditation techniques we will be covering.

It is always best to see both sides of the coin before investing time and energy into an endeavor, wouldn't you agree? we hope so. Shale we get into it then...
